Development path
2009 年
2009年，协会与国家海洋局广西北海海洋环境监测中心站合作，共同建立“中国海洋摄影协会涠洲岛摄影基地”，策划和组织了赴广西北海涠洲岛国家地质公园、合浦山口红树林海洋自然保护区的海洋摄影考察和采风活动，积累和创作了大量海洋题材的摄影素材和作品。
与国家海洋局信息中心建立中国海洋摄影协会存档事宜。
与北京海洋馆共同建立“中国海洋摄影协会(北京海洋馆)培训基地”。
Year 2009
In 2009, the association and the Guangxi Beihai Marine Environmental Monitoring Center of the State Oceanic Administration jointly established the "China Ocean Photography Association Weizhou Island Photography Base" and planned and organized trips to the Guangxi Beihai Weizhou Island National Geological Park and Hepu Mountain Pass Mangrove Ocean Marine photography surveys and collection activities in the nature reserve have accumulated and created a large number of marine themed photographic materials and works.
Establish the archives of the China Ocean Photography Association with the Information Center of the State Oceanic Administration.
Co-established the "China Ocean Photography Association (Beijing Aquarium) Training Base" with Beijing Aquarium.
2010 年
2010年组织《北京晚报》记者赴广西北海涠洲岛、斜阳岛等地进行考察，并以《冬日火山岛》为题，在《北京晚报》上用整版篇幅做了摄影专题宣传报道。

In 2010, “Beijing Evening News” reporters were organized to conduct inspections on Weizhou Island and Xieyang Island in Beihai, Guangxi. With the theme of “Winter Volcanic Island”, a full-page photo-special publicity report was made in the “Beijing Evening News”.
2011 年
2011年 协会与国家海洋局海监总队联合在山东省烟台市，举办了《大海，我的故乡——中国海监摄影作品展》。

2012年，协会还分别为中国海监（南海支队）一线工作人员，进行 2 次海洋执法摄影培训。
在此年间，协会应邀参与由中共中央办公厅西苑出版社主办的“没有共产党就没有新中国”名家书画、摄影全国巡回展活动。

In 2012, the association also conducted 2 marine law enforcement photography trainings for front-line staff of China Maritime Surveillance (Nanhai Detachment).
During this year, the association was invited to participate in the "No Communist Party, No New China" national tour exhibition of famous paintings, calligraphy and photography sponsored by Xiyuan Publishing House, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee.

2013 年，
2013年，中国海洋摄影摄影协会“海之家”影友俱乐部在北京奥体中心成立。
2013 年，为中国海监总队策划、撰稿、编辑、出版了《中国海监执法摄影实务百问》手册，并下发海监总队各支队。

2014 年 协会与古巴驻华使馆联合举办“图说古巴摄影展”，受到社会各界的好评。

2015 年
2015 年 7 月 23 日，福建分会组织协会会员前往闽北松溪县针对该县的贫困地区儿童进行了捐资助学活动。

On July 23, 2015, the Fujian Branch organized its members to Songxi County in northern Fujian to donate to children in poverty-stricken areas of the county.
2016 年
2016 年 6 月，福建省分会组织开展了福建“一带一路”《溯源海丝路》摄影展览。
2016 年 9 月 16 日，协会在北京市门头沟区斋堂镇马兰村建立摄影基地。

In June 2016, one belt, one road, Fujian, was launched by the Fujian provincial branch.
On September 16, 2016, the association established a photography base in Malan village, Zhaitang town, Mentougou District, Beijing.
2017 年
2017 年5 月 12 日，协会与全国政协丝路规划研究中心丝路青年论坛合作，为配合国家首届“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛在京召开，在中国政协文史馆举办“丝路荟影”大型国际摄影展。展览期间，有八位国家领导人及参加“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛的多个国家与会代表和驻华使节参观了影展，并给予了高度评价。
2017 年春节期间福建省分会与福建省图书馆联合举办了两次的“海丝影韵”大型摄影图片展； 5 月又在福州温泉博物馆联合福州市鼓楼区人民政府共同举办“福建摄影家优秀摄影作品展”，并编辑出版了以会员入选作品的“海丝影韵”摄影画册。
2017 年，香港分会在香港以海洋知识普及教育为重点，举办了多次大型海洋及水下生物摄影展和专题讲座，还多次免费组织潜水学习和培训课程，让参加者亲身体验了水下世界的自然风光，加强了参与者对海洋生态的感性认识。
另外，还培训了许多专业的海洋生物与海洋环保专家，并安排专家对全港的大、中、小学进行推广教育工作，大力宣传海洋生态的保育意识。
2017 年 8 月，陕西分会在西安组织开展了“一带一路”摄影采风作品展示活动。
2017年9月-10月 ，协会两次在美国纽约时代广场纳斯达克大屏以“让世界了解你”为主题，展示了协会会员的优秀海洋摄影作品。
2018 年
2018年6 月 1 日，在广东省深圳市举行了首届海豚奖“深海e 栈”杯“一带一路”国际风情摄影展。应中国国际海洋摄影协会邀请，国际摄影艺术联合会主席里卡尔多·布西夫妇出席活动，并对协会举办的“国际风情摄影艺术展活动，给予高度评价。同时，布西与协会会员一起在深圳开展摄影采风创作活动。来自北京、陕西、福建、广东、广西、山东、香港、台湾等有关领导及摄影家 200余人聚集一堂，参与活动。会后，还编辑出版了一部“首届海豚奖“深海 e 栈”杯“一带一路”国际风情摄影展”纪实大型画册。
2018 年 9 月 28 日，在广西壮族自治区南宁市举行了中国国际海洋摄影协会广西分会海洋主题摄影采风活动，创作了一大批海洋摄影优秀作品。
2019 年
2019 年 1 月 26 日，北京分会在北京举行了“首届《观沧海》&中关村在线摄影作品展。百余名摄影家及摄影爱好者参加影展及活动。
2019 年 11 月 18 日和 23 日，海南省分会在海口举行了“丝路荟影”摄影书画艺术巡回展海南站、文昌站展览。
2020 年
2020 年 10 月 12 日至 16 日，中国国际海洋摄影协会在山东省蓬莱市长岛县，举办了“中国国际海洋摄影协会会展中心、长岛摄影基地挂牌暨摄影采风等活动”，这次摄影采风活动收集了近千幅摄影作品，同时，得到了社会和所有协会会员的好评。
2020 年 12 月 11 日，中国国际海洋摄影协会在北京昌平某地，建立“中国国际海洋摄影协会总部基地”，成为总会会议、讨论、交流的平台之地。
协会的成立，是最早为民间有组织的海洋摄影活动，展开了一面蓝色旗帜。
数年的探索与成功实践，不仅使我们在基础建设、活动组织、新闻宣传、社会公关等方面获得了一定的工作经验，也让我们对协会的未来建立起坚定信心。
